Andrew Bhak
Managing Director, Investment Banking, Morgan Stanley
Andrew Bhak is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley. Within the firm�s healthcare investment banking practice, Mr. Bhak is responsible for the healthcare services providers and facilities sector. Mr. Bhak rejoined Morgan Stanley in January 2007 from Deutsche Bank Securities, where he held a similar position in the Global Banking Division. Prior to his career as an investment banker, he spent 10 years as a senior equity research analyst covering the healthcare facilities and services sector, including at Morgan Stanley. Before coming to Wall Street, Mr. Bhak was with the Health Financing Group of the GAO, the investigative arm of Congress, where he worked on a range of Medicare and Medicaid issues. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Emphysema Foundation.
Troy Brennan, MD

Troy A. Brennan, MD, MPH, is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Aetna Inc., one of the nation�s leading healthcare and related benefits organizations. In this role, Dr. Brennan oversees all clinical policy and medical management at Aetna. Prior to joining Aetna, Dr. Brennan served as President and CEO of Brigham and Women�s Physician�s Organization from 2000-2006. In his academic work, he served as Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Professor of Law and Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. He has published 240 peer-reviewed papers and four books.
Dr. Brennan received his MD and MPH degrees from Yale Medical School, his JD degree from Yale Law School, and his MA degree from Oxford University. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
Michael L. Cowan, MD

As the Chief Medical officer for Health Services at BearingPoint,
Dr. Cowan is responsible for leading BearingPoint�s thought
leadership in the healthcare and social services markets. Dr. Cowan
has extensive executive experience within the healthcare industry,
both in the private and public sectors. Previously, Dr. Cowan served
as senior vice president for Healthcare Solutions at Oracle
Corporation, where he led their strategic solutions practice for
public and private sector healthcare in North America. Prior to
joining Oracle, Dr. Cowan had a distinguished career with the U.S.
Navy, where most recently he served as its 34th Surgeon General.
Dr. Cowan has also been a leading force for innovations in
information technology throughout his career, leading and directing
the development and implementation of several programs including
Tricareonline, Navy Medicine Online, the Worldwide Pharmacy
Transaction Data Base, and the TRICARE Unified Enrollment Database.
Dr. Cowan earned his medical degree from Washington University in
St. Louis and completed his postgraduate training at Bethesda Naval
Medical Center. He is certified by the American College of Physician
Executives as a Certified Physician Executive and was recognized by
the American Medical Association as its AMA Outstanding Federal
Health Executive of the Year in 1999.
Thomas O. Enders, III

Mr. Enders is a Managing Director and Senior Partner with CSC�s Global Health Solutions Practice. Mr. Enders concentrates on projects involving strategy, organizational effectiveness, and information technology (preferably in combination). He has served the majority of the top academic health centers and many of their affiliated medical schools, is working with the country�s leading integrated delivery systems and faith based systems, and is a long standing consultant to associations such as the Voluntary Hospital Association of America (VHA) and the University Health System Consortium. Mr. Enders was recognized as CSC�s Quality Partner of the Year for 2003. He received an AB from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He serves on the board of the Forest Guild, an organization which promotes ecological forestry.
Guy L. Fish, MD

Dr. Fish is Vice President of Fletcher Spaght. Inc/Fletcher Spaght Ventures. His firm services start-up and emerging companies in healthcare and high-tech with strategy assistance and actionable market research. The firm also has two venture capital funds, the first of which is performing very well and enabled the creation of a second fund in 2006. Prior to working in venture capital, Dr. Fish was a practicing Internal Medicine physician who �retooled� at the Yale School of Management. Post-Yale positions include five years at Boston Consulting Group, one year at Sanford Bernstein, and two years in Boston as an independent consultant and at a small tissue-engineering early-stage company. A graduate of Harvard College, and Yale School of Medicine, Guy sits on the physician licensing board in Massachusetts, the Board of Trustees at Beth Israel Deaconess, and has a daughter in her sophomore year at Yale College, a freshman son at Harvard University, and a high school aged daughter targeting Oxford.
Howard Forman, MD

Professor of Diagnostic Radiology, Yale School of Medicine
Professor Forman is a health services researcher focusing on diagnostic radiology, health policy, and healthcare leadership. His most recent publications address the means of measuring the current market for radiologists, the incentives that medical students respond to in choosing a specialty, and ensuring quality in imaging services. Professor Forman is also a lecturer in the economics department at Yale College and in the healthcare management program of the School of Public Health. He is the faculty founder and director of the MD/MBA program between Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Management as well as the co-director of the School of Management's Center for Healthcare Leadership and Management. As a practicing cross-sectional and emergency/trauma radiologist and vice chair for finance and administration of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the Yale Medical School, he is actively involved in patient care and issues related to financial administration, healthcare compliance, and contracting. He has worked in the US Senate, as a legislative fellow, working on Medicare legislation. Achievements and Honors: Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow, 2001-2002. Robert Galvin, MD
Director, Global Healthcare, General Electric
Robert Galvin, MD, is Director of Global Healthcare for General Electric (GE). In addition to responsibility for GE�s $3B annual health spend, he oversees GE�s clinical group, encompassing over 215 clinics in 30 countries and leads health policy for the corporation. In his current role Dr. Galvin has focused on issues of market-based health policy and financing, with special interest in performance measurement, payment reform, and the assessment and coverage of new technologies. He is a co-founder of The Leapfrog Group and the founder of Bridges to Excellence. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Committee for Quality Assurance and is a member of the Commonwealth Fund�s Commission on a High Performance Health System. He has also served on several Institute of Medicine Committees.
Dr. Galvin�s work has received awards from the National Health Care Purchasing Institute, The National Business Group on Health and the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and his work has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and Health Affairs. He is a Professor Adjunct of Medicine at Yale where he leads the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar seminar series on the private sector.
Randall Johnson

Randy Johnson is Executive Director of the Leadership in Healthcare MBA for Executives, a program that combines faculty and curriculum from the schools of Management, Medicine, and Public Health.
Prior to returning to the School of Management to launch the Leadership in Healthcare program Randy spent a twenty year career moving between entrepreneurship, banking, and management consulting, launching a technology startup during his second year at SOM, then joining the international consulting firm of McKinsey & Co., then planning and building a new line of business for the Chemical Banking Co., and most recently returning to entrepreneurship to build his own consulting practice specializing in building high-performing marketing/sales/service organizations for clients in banking and other service industries.
In addition to his professional activities Randy has been active in the former Soviet Union as an economic adviser and teacher of business principles and practices. He is a 1984 graduate of the Yale School of Management and earned his bachelor�s degree from Haverford College.

Edward J. McKinley

Mr. McKinley is currently a private investor. He was with Warburg Pincus for 20 years. Between 1993 and 2002, Mr. McKinley was responsible for the firm�s private equity activity in Europe and was the sole non-New York Partner on the firm�s management committee. Prior to this he opened and ran the firm�s office in Los Angeles. Before joining Warburg Pincus, he was with McKinsey & Co., Inc. for four years in New York. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honours from Stanford University (1974) and holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management (1979).
Mr. McKinley is a director of Pharmion Corporation (US), SBS Broadcasting SA (Netherlands), Trover Solutions, Inc. (US), Buttonwood Capital Partners Limited (UK), and Bramdean Capital (UK); he is on the advisory board of Englefield Capital. He serves on the advisory board of The International Center for Finance at the Yale School of Management. He is a member of the Yale President�s Council on International Activities, and a member of The Development Council for the Royal National Theatre in London.
Mr. McKinley has been an investor in healthcare companies in both Europe and the US for over 22 years, and has served on the boards of over 20 companies in healthcare services, biotechnology and medical device technology.
Eric Shultz

Eric H. Schultz is the President and CEO of Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services company that offers innovative health insurance solutions and services for our changing society.
Prior to being named President and CEO of FCHP, Schultz held executive positions with CIGNA Healthcare and Prudential Healthcare. He also served as Medical Group Administrator for Nashville Healthcare Group, Nashville�s largest primary care group practice.
Schultz holds an MBA in Health Care Leadership from Yale University�s School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
An active member of the community, in 2006 Schultz received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, which he describes as the �most meaningful� award he has ever received. He is President of the Mohegan Council Boy Scouts; Vice Chairman of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans; and board member of The Kenneth B. Schwartz Center, United Way of Central Massachusetts, and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is past President of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau and past Chairman of the Alliance of Community Health Plans in Washington, D.C.
Sam K. Srivastava

Sam K. Srivastava joined CIGNA HealthCare in November 2006 as the President of the Senior Segment and in February of 2008 his role was expanded to include leadership of the National Segment, serving employers with 5,000 or more employees. He has executive management responsibility for the strategic planning, business operations, growth and financial performance for these segments which serve approximately 18 million individuals.
With over 17 years experience in health care, Srivastava has held executive leadership positions in the commercial, senior, low-income and disabled population segments at UnitedHealth Group and HealthNet. He has also been a management consultant in the United States and internationally, primarily focusing on the areas of developing and improving integrated health care delivery systems for providers, insurers and governments.
Srivastava graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Medical Science & Humanities and completed graduate work at Yale University in Health Care Management. He resides in Wilton, Connecticut with his wife and four daughters.

Nancy Yedlin

Nancy Yedlin, MPH, Director, Program Communications & Management, joined the Donaghue Foundation in September 2005. She has responsibility for managing two of the Foundation grant programs: Clinical and Community Health Issues and The Donaghue Investigator Program. In addition, Ms. Yedlin develops strategies and approaches to improve the dissemination of promising research results for use in the health care practice and policy worlds. Nancy received her Master�s degree in Public Health from the Yale School of Medicine in 1981. For most of her career, Nancy worked in the managed care and corporate benefits arena. She held leadership positions at PHS/ Healthnet and in the Health Benefits strategy group at Pitney Bowes Corporation. Nancy lives with her family in New Haven.
