ANDREW BHAK, MPH
Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking, Morgan Stanley
Andrew Bhak is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley. Within the firm's healthcare investment banking practice, Mr. Bhak is responsible for the healthcare services providers and facilities sector. Prior to his career as an investment banker, he spent 10 years as a senior equity research analyst covering the healthcare facilities and services sector, including at Morgan Stanley. Before coming to Wall Street, Mr. Bhak was with the Health Financing Group of the GAO, the investigative arm of Congress, where he worked on a range of Medicare and Medicaid issues. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Emphysema Foundation. |

ROBERT GALVIN, MD
Executive Director of Health Services and Chief Medical Officer, General Electric
Dr. Robert Galvin is the Executive Director of Health Services and Chief Medical Officer for General Electric (GE). He is in charge of the design and performance of GE’s health programs, totaling over $3 billion annually, and oversees the 1 million patient encounters that take place in GE’s 175 medical clinics in 20 countries. He also leads health policy for the company. He is a nationally recognized leader in the areas of market-based health policy and financing, quality measurement and public reporting and payment reform.
Dr. Galvin is on the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Board on Health Care Services and has served on numerous IOM committees. He is a member of the National Advisory Council for Healthcare Research and Quality, which provides advice and recommendations to the Director, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and to the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services, on priorities for a national health services research agenda. He is also on the Defense Health Board. He is a cofounder of the Leapfrog Group and the founder of Bridges to Excellence, one of the first pay-for-performance initiatives. He recently founded the Center for Payment Reform, a non-profit organization representing consumers and payers that focuses solely on issues around payment.
Dr. Galvin is Professor Adjunct of Medicine and Health Policy at Yale, and his work has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and Health Affairs.
Dr Galvin's work has received awards from the National Business Group on Health, the National Healthcare Purchasing Institute and the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

FUAD EL-HIBRI, MBA
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Emergent Biosolutions, Inc.
Fuad El-Hibri has served as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of Emergent Biosolutions Inc., since June 2004 and as president from March 2006 to April 2007. Mr. El-Hibri served as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of BioPort Corporation from May 1998 until June 2004, when, as a result of corporate reorganization, BioPort became a wholly owned subsidiary of Emergent. Mr. El-Hibri served as chairman of Digicel Holdings, Ltd., a privately held telecommunications firm, from August 2000 to October 2006.
He served as president of Digicel from August 2000 to February 2005. Mr. El-Hibri has served as chairman of East West Resources Corporation, a venture capital and financial consulting firm, since June 1990. He served as president of East West Resources from September 1990 to January 2004. Mr. El-Hibri is a member of the board of trustees of American University and a member of the board of directors of the International Biomedical Research Alliance, an academic joint venture among the NIH, Oxford University and Cambridge University. He also serves as chairman and treasurer of El-Hibri Charitable Foundation. Mr. El-Hibri received a master's degree in public and private management from Yale University and a B.A. in economics from Stanford University. |

STEPHEN KNIGHT, MD, MBA
Managing Partner, Fidelity Biosciences
Dr. Knight has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over sixteen years. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2003, Dr. Knight was president and chief operating officer for EPIX Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For six years before joining EPIX, Dr. Knight worked at Arthur D. Little Inc., primarily as a senior consultant in Cambridge and Brussels, Belgium specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to 1990, Dr. Knight performed research at AT&T Bell Laboratories (now Lucent Technologies), the National Institutes of Health, and at Yale University.
Dr. Knight holds an M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Organization and Management. Dr. Knight received a B.S. in biology from Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. |

JUDITH KUNISCH, MBA, RN
Co-Interim Director and Lecturer, Yale School of Nursing
Judy Kunisch is a senior nurse executive with experience building and implementing innovative solutions to improve medical quality and manage medical costs. As a leader, she introduced new clinical and nursing business models including a disease state management program for prevention of preterm birth and a regional managed care company, VNA Managed Care, Inc. A former vice-president of The Hartford Financial Services, Inc., Ms. Kunisch was responsible for medical programs and managed care services in 50 states. Currently, Ms. Kunisch is a faculty member at Yale School of Nursing and interim director of the Nursing Management, Policy and Leadership specialty. She is a consultant to health care providers and insurers.
Ms. Kunisch received a BSN from Skidmore College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

GREG LICHOLAI, MD, MBA
Chief Operating Officer, Proteostasis Therapeutics, Inc.
Gregory P. Licholai MD, is Chief Operating Officer at Proteostasis Therapeutics, a venture-backed platform biotechnology company based in Cambridge, MA. Previously, he was Vice President for Corporate Development and Medical Affairs at Amicus Therapeutics, a publicly traded company focused on pharmacological chaperones for genetic diseases. Earlier he was at Domain Associates, a leading healthcare venture capital firm. He had also been Director of Ventures and Business Development at Medtronic Neurological. Dr. Licholai has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine, and did his clinical training at the Harvard Medical School affiliates Brigham and Women’s, Children's and Massachusetts General Hospitals. He was awarded a National Institutes of Health research fellowship funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Dr. Licholai is also currently on the board of Immunome, an antibody discovery platform company. |

MICHAEL ORLOSKY, MD, MMM, CPE
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Human Capital Specialists
Dr. Orlosky is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Human Capital Specialists, a health care management consulting company. His experience includes knowledge of health care legislation, insurance operations, merger and acquisitions in healthcare, strategy, innovation, quality, and financial performance. He has a special interest and expertise in turnaround opportunities having successfully managed many throughout his career.
Previously, Dr. Orlosky was Regional Vice President for WellPoint, Inc.’s behavioral health operations in the East. During his five years in that position, Dr. Orlosky led the expansion of his department from a single state (CT) and 23 staff, to a regional operation with 7.6 million enrollees in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Virginia, and Georgia. His management approach improved associate engagement and manager effectiveness measures to Best in Class levels and he drove the operational performance of the 7th, 16th, and 20th nationally ranked Health Plans as published in US News and World Report (2008).
A practicing psychiatrist for 17 years, Dr. Orlosky received his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, his M.D. from the University of South Florida, and his Masters of Medical Management degree from Tulane University. Dr. Orlosky is the author of numerous articles about mental health, and the author of a consumer book on the topic of depression. He is currently serves as Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, and is a Certified Physician Executive by the American College of Physician Executives.

ERIC SCHULTZ, MBA

Eric H. Schultz is the President and CEO of Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services company that offers innovative health insurance solutions and services for our changing society. Prior to being named President and CEO of FCHP, Mr. Schultz held executive positions with CIGNA Healthcare and Prudential Healthcare. He also served as Medical Group Administrator for Nashville Healthcare Group, Nashville’s largest primary care group practice. Mr. Schultz holds an MBA in Health Care Leadership from Yale University’s School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut. An active member of the community, in 2006 Mr. Schultz received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, which he describes as the “most meaningful” award he has ever received. He is President of the Mohegan Council Boy Scouts; Vice Chairman of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans; and board member of The Kenneth B. Schwartz Center, the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, the New England Council and the Alliance of Community Health Plans in Washington DC. In 2009, Mr. Schultz received an honorary doctoral degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. |

SAM SRIVASTAVA, MPH
Vice President, Senior Segment, CIGNA Healthcare
Sam K. Srivastava is the leader of National and Senior Segments. He has executive management responsibility for the strategic planning, business operations, growth and financial performance for these segments, which serve approximately 18 million individuals. Mr. Srivastava joined CIGNA HealthCare in November 2006 as the President of the Senior Segment and in February of 2008 his role was expanded to include leadership of the National Segment, serving employers with 5,000 or more employees.
With over 17 years of experience in health care, Mr. Srivastava has held executive leadership positions in the commercial, senior, low-income and disabled population segments at UnitedHealth Group and HealthNet. He has also been a management consultant in the United States and internationally, primarily focusing on the areas of developing and improving integrated health care delivery systems for health care professionals, insurers and governments.
Mr. Srivastava graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Medical Science & Humanities and completed graduate work at Yale University in Health Care Management.

HOWARD FORMAN, MD, MBA

Professor Forman is a health services researcher focusing on diagnostic radiology, health policy, and healthcare leadership. His most recent publications address the means of measuring the current market for radiologists, the incentives that medical students respond to in choosing a specialty, and ensuring quality in imaging services. Professor Forman is also a lecturer in the economics department at Yale College and in the healthcare management program of the School of Public Health. He is the faculty founder and director of the MD/MBA program between Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Management as well as the co-director of the School of Management's Center for Healthcare Leadership and Management. As a practicing cross-sectional and emergency/trauma radiologist and vice chair for finance and administration of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the Yale Medical School, he is actively involved in patient care and issues related to financial administration, healthcare compliance, and contracting. He has worked in the US Senate, as a legislative fellow, working on Medicare legislation. |

ELLEN SKINNER, MBA

MBA for Executives: Leadership in Healthcare Program
Ms. Skinner joined the School of Management as the Executive Director of the MBA for Executives Leadership in Healthcare Program in 2008. She previously held leadership positions with Yale School of Medicine Faculty Practice, CIGNA Healthcare and most recently Health Net.
During her more than 20-year career, Ms. Skinner has taken an active role in defining and implementing changes to improve access and reduce administrative costs in the delivery of health care. At the Yale School of Medicine, she led many of the forays into managed care, actively involved in developing faculty and community-physician relationships, and successfully launching a number of successful ventures, including implementation of Yale’s Medicaid program, Yale Preferred One. At CIGNA, she led a national program to improve claim accuracy and payment turnaround times and was at the vanguard of CIGNA’s participation in a joint venture with five other managed care plans to adopt standards for interoperability for electronic transactions. Most recently, Ms. Skinner implemented a successful Strategic Planning and Business Development process for Health Net, which increased project success rates that led to improved overall earnings.
Ms. Skinner holds an M.P.P.M. from the Yale School of Organization and Management and holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State University. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and gardening. She and her husband live in North Haven, Connecticut and have two daughters who also live in Connecticut.
