YALE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS SHUTTLE SERVICE

The Yale University Shuttle Service will be available to conference attendees on both Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th. A detailed real-time shuttle map is available at https://yaleshuttle.doublemap.com/map/mobile.

  • The Blue Line and the Yellow Line both stop in front of the Yale School of Management at the corner of Sachem Street and Whitney Avenue.

  • The Orange Line stops on the corner of Orange Street and Pearl Street, which is one block from the Yale School of Management.

  • For anyone coming from Yale’s West Campus, the Green Line stops at the corner of Humphrey Street and Whitney Avenue, which is one block from the Yale School of Management.

P A R K I N G

THURSDAY, APRIL 11TH, 2019

Free parking will NOT be available to conference attendees for the Thursday evening “Women in Healthcare Leadership” panel. Metered parking will be available along Whitney Avenue, Sachem Street, and Orange Street.

FRIDAY, APRIL 12TH, 2019

Parking will be available on Friday, April 12th, free of charge for conference attendees at the following location:

Science Park Garage

Shuttle services will run continuously on April 12th between the Science Park Garage and Edward P. Evans Hall from 7am-9:30am and 5pm-7pm.

TO GET TO THE PARKING GARAGE

  • From I-91 N: Take Exit 3 for Trumbull Street. Turn right at the second light onto Whitney Avenue. At the third light, turn left onto Edwards Street. At the next light, turn right onto Prospect Street. Take immediate left at next light onto Hillside. Follow Hillside down to Winchester Avenue and turn right. Turn left into the parking garage.

  • From Route 63/Whalley Avenue: Turn left onto Ashmun Street. Follow Ashmun to Webster, turning right onto Webster. At next light, turn left onto Winchester. Go straight on Winchester for 0.5 mile. Turn left into the parking garage.

Once at the parking garage, inform the parking attendant that you are attending the Yale Healthcare Conference and you will be let in free of charge.

PARKING SHUTTLE

Charter buses from Hy’s Limousine will be available to transport guests to and from the parking garage during the periods of 7 am – 9:30 am and 5 pm - 7 pm. Shuttles will run approximately every 15-20 minutes.

  • Parking Garage Drop-Off/Pickup Location: Northwest Corner of Winchester Ave and Munson Street ON Winchester Ave.

  • Yale School of Management Drop-off/Pickup Location: On Sachem Street in front of the Yale Peabody Museum.

JFK Airport, Jamaica, New York/LaGuardia Airport, Flushing, New York
JFK/LaGuardia to New Haven:
Take a taxi directly from JFK Airport/La Guardia Airport to Grand Central Station OR take the AirTrain at JFK airport to Penn Station, and from Penn Station take the 7 train to Grand Central Station. At Grand Central Station, take the Metro-North Train to Union Station, New Haven ($17.75 off-peak, one-way; $23.50 peak, one-way.)

New Haven to JFK/LaGuardia:

  • Take the Metro-North Train to Grand Central Station, then take the NY Airport Service bus to the airport.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Newark, New Jersey

EWR to New Haven
Take a taxi from EWR to Newark Penn Station. Take the PATH train from Newark Penn Station to World Trade Center ($2.75 PATH fare). At World Trade Center, the 4 or 5 train will bring you to Grand Central Station ($2.75 metro fare). At Grand Central Station, take the Metro North train to Union Station, New Haven.

New Haven to EWR

  • Take the Metro-North Train to Grand Central Station, then take the Newark Airport Express bus to the airport.
  • Amtrak 1-800-USA-RAIL (872-7245)- AirTrain, a monorail, connects the Newark Airport train station to the airport terminals. When you purchase a train ticket from New Haven (NHV) to the Newark Airport (EWR), the cost of the monorail is included.

Bradley International Airport (BDL), Windsor Locks (Hartford), Connecticut

BDL to New Haven
Taxi services, including Uber and Lyft, run between BDL and New Haven. CT Limo is also an option.

New Haven to BDL
Take a direct taxi. Otherwise, take the CTTransit New Haven/Hartford Express Bus or the Megabus to Hartford’s Union Station, then take the Bradley Flyer to the airport.

+ Car

There are multiple driving routes that you can take to arrive at the Yale School of Management:

From Route 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways)

  • From the north: Take exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for about five miles. Once you reach the Sachem street intersection you have arrived, the School of Management is on your left.
  • From the south: Take the Merritt Parkway to the I-95 exit. Turn off Interstate 95 at the I-91 North (Hartford-Springfield) exit and continue for a short distance. Take exit 3 (Trumbull Street), stay in the middle lane and then take the third right onto Whitney Avenue. The School of Management is two blocks ahead. From Interstate 95 Turn off Interstate 95 at the I-91 North (Hartford-Springfield) exit and continue for a short distance.
