The Yale Healthcare Conference is a collaborative effort between Yale's Schools of Management, Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health. This annual student-led knowledge translation event brings together industry leaders, clinicians, and scholars to engage in meaningful discourse regarding today’s foremost healthcare issues, and opportunities for leadership, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Lydia Li, MPH HealthCare Management 22’
A strong believer in the power of caregiving, Lydia left financial advisory to pursue a career in healthcare innovation. She finds the design, implementation, and administration of value-based physician and advanced practice provider compensation an area she provides the most value-add to the health care space. She hopes to invest in people that share her purpose and understand the intricacies of efficiency/effectiveness dilemma.Lydia is also a marathon runner, fantasy enthusiast, (extremely mediocre) surfer, and mental wellness advocate.
A second-year in the accelerated MBA/MPH program, Daisy’s prior experience as a Product Manager in the care management space piqued her interest in care management, alternative payment models, and the ways in which incentives can be realigned to curb costs and improve outcomes.Daisy is also passionate about reproductive and sexual health, and hopes to work towards increasing access to all services, including abortion care. In her free time, Daisy enjoys hiking with her partner in the Hudson Valley.
Hil is a third-year MBA/MPH Candidate focused on entrepreneurship and innovation in cancer care. A young breast cancer survivor, Hil is an active patient advocate, mentor, and writer in the cancer community, and dedicates her time to raising awareness around the importance of early detection and longitudinal survivorship care. She is also the Founder/CEO of a health tech startup providingsurvivors of critical illness with the tools they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Prior to transitioning into healthcare, Hil worked in strategy and innovation consulting in the cultural sector. She enjoys musical comedy, getting outside, and playing with her dog, Levi.
